(NORWALK, Conn., October 13, 2011) – Puerto Rico, as one of the largest life sciences centers per capita in the world, is in the midst of a $1.7 billion estimated investment in a proposed “San Juan Knowledge Corridor” development project that is intended to house world-class science laboratories and facilities, according to the Puerto Rico Industrial Development Company (PRIDCO).
In its part to help drive the knowledge-based economy of the island, INTERPHEX Puerto Rico, to be held October 20-21, 2011 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, will offer over 40 accredited conference and training sessions focused on guiding industry professionals on the island’s most critical issues for the full spectrum of life sciences manufacturing and facility management. Three dynamic tracks will feature courses in: Facility and Staff Optimization, Scientific Engineering & Technology and Regulatory QA/QC.
